Where does the time go?

In some real life news - I know I don't post much about myself on this blog, you can check out www.xanga.com/ryugagi82 for my personal blog - I've settled into my internship here in Atlanta, GA. The moving process and time management has been enduring to say the least. I wasn't online FFXI for about a whole 2 weeks. However, as the Chinese proverb goes, "Time away is a new marriage." I think thats about correct. I've gotten into the cycle playing FFXI from 10EST until 2AM everynight. Its quite nice.

Been playing with Chubbie more than Hyourin. Only becasue shes just so cutaru. Look! Her head is JUMBO SIZED! Its like... a balloon!

I allowed Yukimu access to my account for the time I was away. With him proclaiming to everyone that I sold my account to him, he's like the devil's advocate.

In a long time, I've been very content with my FFXI life. No lofty goals, not real set plan. Just content. I'm just happy that all my friends are playing the game again, with a new addition of Mittsuro. This week and next has been planned on trying to get him tthrough the typical pre-30 tasks. Getting his SJ, Chocobo pass, Kazham pass, rank 3, etc etc. Alot of {fun} I think. These are our salad days as Yukimu would put it.

Since there are now a surplus of friends and summer is upon us, we have decided to static together. 4 hours a night, 4 nights a week. I call it the "4 by 4 plan." Gain 10 levels a week in FFXI! I gaurantee it! =p

Setup: NIN, BST, SAM, BLM, RDM, WHM

Nothing better than putting 8 hours at work and still be able to come home and play FFXI for a few hours with buds. My office is so big and bright that I kinda wish we all could just play FFXI here =p. Office fantasy...

In cooler news, I finally got my berets from activating Chubbie with a gold pass! I've been getting /checks from strangers ever since.

I've been invited into a JPN ls recently. (Don't worry MA, I still love ya!) Everyone in the LS is relatively new, and its the best of both worlds for me. I'm playing FFXI and practicing my Japanese!

I think the second best thing I like doing in FFXI besides meeting new people is to ability to mentor people. Show them the ropes much how Deviltti showed me how to do stuff. Helping out in high-level content is cool too, but strapping on the armor and sword to help a low-bie. Thats something enjoyable.

Who's the sexy bytch? Oh yeah. You know it. =p But, its really Auto's. He lent it to me for a few minutes as I PL'ed in the dunes. I'll get this thing just because it looks so darn sexy!

Story of a poor boy....

Hello to the whole LS!! Sorry I have been playing for about a month now, but I still haven’t pop my face in the LS chat yet. I did show up a few times, but didn’t see any of the usual players. Hopefully I have some time to chat with the old players. Now let me continue with my epic story of “The Poor Elvaan”

Think about this:
When I left FFXI back in January I earn about 30-40k an hour with slime oil.

Slime sold price 15~18K.
Squid Sushi sold about 12-15k a stack.
Bullets cost 10k per 99 shots. I used about 300 shot per hour.

When I came back to play with my Cor, I realized this right away…
Slime sold price 8-9k, price drop by 50%
Squid Sushi STILL sold for 12-15k
Since bullets are NPC buyable, so price still remain consent at 10k.

So…. I have to farm twice as much just to earn money with the same purchasing power.
It’s unfair that Meat Mithkabob price dropped to 3-4k, and Squid Sushi remain the same. (Reason is Giant Squid was mostly Bot farm item, hence supply dropped)

It cost my 100k in bullets and food to jump from level 62-63.5 (This is my NOT being trigger happy)

Sigh… This is truly ironic because I became a Cor because I thought THF was too expensive, and even RNG. Turn out that Cor is the most expensive class. RNG arrow cost like 20-50gil per shoot, Cor is 100g.

It was so expensive I stop playing my Cor after one level. I then decided to level up my BST, with Hyourin as my PL. But after soloing from lvl 25-31 I realized that there is a reason why people don’t invite BST to parties….

Last night I had to purchase Wizard's Roll(100k) Warlock's Roll (70k). I just wish I purchase it with cheap money a few months ago….

Gain about 28k in experience point in one day…. I ran out of elemental cards and bullet toward the end. All I did were my rolls and Viper Bite with 16dmg at max TP….We were all falling asleep and such. ( you all have been there)

Final note: December Scorpion Harness purchase 1.6M, current price 475k. That is 11137 bullets I could have unload into a monster in Vana'diel.

Well people I guess its time to tell you...something o_O

After a grueling wekk I finally and lazily crawl out of dunes and straight into the no pts of quifim, with my sammy at a glorious 23. I make this statement "I will survive". anyways not all has half assed lvl grinding I have mange to help a few people in the ls (which is always fun since i'm I never get to help) but I helped mizu camp lanolin cubes, me coldwind,ari,jean helped hyzoxi get rank 3 and helped a few other ls mates get thier subjob items~ and of course I started my LB1 quest, thanks bermy for the help! only the edimira neko whatever thing to go!

as for my cohorts, yukimu is running around doing his usual thing and I know hyo reached A town and is settling in and will be playing shortly so nyah.

Hello to the tens or god willing maybe even dozen's of readers this blog might have! ^.^ Its been over a year since I have played FFXI, but some "unspeakable reason" I find myself once again in the pits of Vana'diel. And I must say the game has changed quite a bit. A few things haven't though, like the fact that as soon as yukimu found out I had return to the game the first thing he asked me to do was to pl him -.-; and I did. short story about that.. two PLs and yukimu still finds a way to die twice to a sheep in konschant lol

Anyways I spent the rest of my time lvling my PLD to 50, getting rank 5, and unlocking SAM (special thanks to quint) . *rubs his chin* my next main?..perhaps

So in the last few nights thats all me and Hyo have been doing, as well as playing drinking games with Mittsuro (pics to come) . And for those wondering who I might be (props for reading this far) I'm Houzukimaru Hyo's sentient bot, programed to farm and .... love <3
