Shittty

Sigh...... All work, no play, make me a dull boy. I have 16 credits this term and I have to work 18 hours a week. I can’t find time to play FFXI at all. All I could manage to do was is log on and feed my chocobo and such. My one year anniversary is coming up also. Damn I want to play soo bad. I miss talking to Auto, Yellowbluebus, our leader Kyssandra, Kelia, Marrissa, and the whole LS. But I wonder do the LS even know that I am not there? I gotten a Red Chocobo already, so at least that is good? Working on a black one next, wish me luck! I wonder will it look like it mommy (Kyssandra)? Valentine days is rapidly coming up, got to find myself some good whores, chuckles.

Speaking about whores, I hate my job….why? Because the two workers are pompous bitch which I soo really do hate. I wish I’m able to whack them with a “STFU” stick. That will truly make me day shine. What am I saying? Day? I can smile for a whole month or two.

Valentione Wishes & Bubble Chocolate Dreams (01/26/2007)
Valentione's Day
A long time ago, in a kingdom not so far away (actually, it was San d'Oria), a peasant squire named Valentione defied centuries of feudal law by sending a special gift to a young noble. This ultimate expression of love over tradition is said to be the origin of the festival we celebrate today.Ah, love is in the air, and the Mog House Management Union (MHMU) wants to help all those stray hearts find their better halves, kupo! Valentione's Day is a chance for young lovers to express their true feelings by giving that "special someone" a chunk of chocolate sweeter than the words "I love you." We've planned a bittersweet event to bring lonely Vana'dielian couples together, but it looks like most of the adventurers that signed up aren't as comfortable talking with those of the opposite sex once they've put away their halberds and hauberks. That's why we need your help to be Cupid! Don't worry--we'll have something tasty ready for all those who help us out, kupo!
When!?
The Valentione excitement begins at 16:00 (PST) on Thursday, February 1 and continues until 0:00 (PST) on Thursday, February 15 (Earth time).
Where!?
Valentione moogles will be dancing and prancing in locations all across Vana'diel. Find one and listen closely to what he has to say. Your furry friends hold the keys to Valentione's Day festivities, and you wouldn't want to miss out on all the fun and games, would you!? Here's a list of where they'll be twirling:- Southern San d'Oria (J-9)- Northern San d'Oria (D-8)- Bastok Mines (I-9)- Bastok Markets (G-8)- Windurst Waters (F-5)- Windurst Woods (K-10)
Valentione Memories
Are you still pondering over how you should spend your Valentione's Day? What should you prepare? Where should you go? Should you pop the big question? If you just can't decide, then why not take a lesson from these free-spirited adventurers and their journeys down the highway of love?
My boyfriend and I were closer than leeches on a goobue's ankle after a wade through the Caedarva Mire...until we had that spat over whose Brenner was more flammen. After that we didn't speak for moons, and I was certain the end was upon us. But when I opened my delivery box on Valentione's Day and saw a Castor's Ring with my darling's name carved on the inside, I knew it wouldn't be long before he was back in my arms. I still wear that ring whenever we go on Assault missions. Its +10 love is better than any increase in intelligence or mind.
Hume F / Ranger
All cooks love Valentione's! Except for me, of course. I try and I try to make heart chocolates for all my friends and flames, but every year I end up with a Mog House bursting with molding bubble chocolate. But on the upside, there's always some cheap chump out there weary to part with the extra gil to unlock his sweetie's heart, and so those bloody bubbles usually help me break even.
Tarutaru F / Paladin
I fell hard for this one fine lass after spending a great deal of time with her on various adventures. My plan was to tell her how I felt last Valentione's Day. However, when that fateful event rolled around, I couldn't muster up the courage to reveal the feelings pent up in my heart. After that, we slowly lost contact with each other until our friendship had faded into the mists of eternity. If I had only taken that extra step, I wouldn't be a lone traveler on a road to nowhere...
Galka / Warrior
One day on our way back from clobbering colibris in Wajoam, another Mithra in my party started handing out different colored flowers to everyone. When we asked her why, she cheerfully replied, "It's Valentione's Day, sillies! You didn't forget, did you?"Well, actually, we all had forgotten, but we appreciated the gesture... Well, almost all of us. Supposedly the color of each flower had some sort of meaning--yellow for friendship, red for love, etc. But just what was she trying to say when she handed me that dried marjoram?

New Year, New Hyoton

First and foremost, my apologies for my leave of blog absence. The winter break vacation took its toll on my FFXI gaming and free time. One would imagine that having 3 weeks off would stimulate immense video game play. Nope. Not the case with myself. Instead, I hardly touched FFXI at all during my surplus of free time. More time spending it with the family and helping out back at home.

I've been pondering a few things in my spare time. Jobs and equipment for example.

With my PLD on the brink of level 70, I've come to an early conclusion of my tanking career, its nearly ending, the era of Utsusemi: Ni will soon take over my PLD tanking abilties as well. Since I'll be investing in Utsusemi: Ni very soon, I've pondered the idea of taking my NIN to 75 as well. It'll be like living the great tanking days over again, plus, I do give credit to NINs on their skills. Also, not that I'll ever obtain it but, a Shura Togi is just too darn sexy for me to pass up.
But, whats more likely to happen will be me starting my DRK. At the very moment, it is settled at a whooping level 10. The simple thought of me going through the dunes again, Qufim, and anything prior to level 40 eurks the hell of of me. However, since I've invested so highly into my WAR (level 58), leveling DRK is quite less of an investment then... lets say... NIN. All I need to do is buy some Thick set and swing a V's Scythe and I'm in bussiness. DRK was my first love during NA launch. It's something that I love secretly as much as PLD.PLD will reach level 73 soon if I continue my upward progress. All I really want to do is wear full Adaman set, do a Savage Blade, and be pretty. Am I ready for Endgame? Simple answer: NO. I'm like a kid that doesn't ever want to grow up. Part of me doesn't want (or care) to reach 75. It'll be psesudo retirement.

Off the topic of future jobs and such, heres a funny situation that happened to me when I was helping my friend's friend during a Coffer Key hunt.

Oh, somehow I jynxed it I think.
Moments like that really humble me. Beyound that armor and sheild exists a sensitive Elvaan boy.

How have I been making such forward progress as of late? Easy, my two static partners Auto and Yellow (whom are married) are just too much fun for me to pass up on. Good friends, good times.
I joined in on some fun with Jedi as we took down the Sleepga II NM, Argas. Had alot of high level help but was interesting none the less. 850k for a scroll? Hmm... I gotta start this quest up one day...
Last night, I joined the linkshell helping Jetsam get his Dagger WS NM. Coldwind tanked the bat hard. I was healing him as much as I could since Jean passed out for half the fight. We won with success! Congrats Jetsam!
Lol. Caught a snap of Jetsam doing Shark Bite. He can give Sonic the Hedgehog a run for his money.
Propz to everyone that came to help Ari, Xzile, Razile, and myself obtain a Parade Gorget. It was a great success and I got to learn a little more bout my fellow members. Great LS, great times.
Thank you everyone^^.
I got lucky last night when Utsusemi: Ni dropped on our BCNM with Auto and Yellow. We split the profits but something else made my day more enjoyable...
Lol. I hope no one beats our record anytime soon. ; ; With the money I got from selling off Ni, I finally set off to do something I've been putting off for awhile...

I finally purchased my Haubergeon this morning. Looking back, it took me one year to save up for 2 Sniper's Rings, a Haubergeon, and a few smaller stuff. I'm very proud of myself that I've gotten this far. My first aniversiary of my final return to Vana'diel is soon. 2 Snipers, a Hauby, and a few jobs near or pass 60 and 70. I can live with that. =)
